cloudLibrary eBooks for iPhone, iPad & Android


First-time setup

  1. Install the cloudLibrary app

    Download the app from the App Store (iOS), or Google Play (Android).

  2. Connect to your library

    In the cloudLibrary app, select your country, state, and library. Enter your library card number and PIN. Your PIN is the last 4 digits of your library card number.

  3. Turn on holds notifications

    To be notified of arrived holds, swipe from left to right to open the home menu, tap Settings, and turn on Email Notification. cloudLibrary will send a verification email.

Borrowing

  1. Find a book

    Open the cloudLibrary app and swipe from left to right to open the home menu. Tap Browse for genres and subjects or tap Featured for new books and curated lists. To hide checked out books open the view menu and tap Available Now. Need a bigger screen? You can do this step and the next one in any web browser by going to ebook.yourcloudlibrary.com/library/cbcpl.

  2. Borrow the book

    Tap the book cover and tap Borrow. Note: Books will self-return at the end of the loan period. They cannot be renewed, but a book can be borrowed again if there are no holds on it. There is a limit of 6 items borrowed and 6 items on hold.

Reading & Returning

Read the book

Swipe from left to right to open the home menu. Tap My Books to see your checked-out ebooks, and tap the book cover. To return to My Books when reading, tap the center of the page, then Close in the upper-left corner.

Return the book early

Swipe from left to right to open the home menu. Tap My Books and tap Return Books near the upper-right corner to toggle the return option. Tap Return. Note: This is an optional step because books will self-return at the end of the loan period.
