Saturday, April 13th  | 2:00 – 5:00 PM | Main Meeting Room |

A wide variety of board games, card games, and video games for all ages will be free to play on a first-come, first-served basis. Examples of games that will be available to play include classic favorites such as Candyland, Chutes & Ladders, Monopoly, Scrabble, Chess, and Checkers; new standards such as Settlers of Catan, Forbidden Island, Apples to Apples, and Pandemic; and various video games for consoles such as Xbox One. Attendees may drop in at any time during the event to try new games, play old favorites, or simply watch all of the fun.

This event is one of several monthly gaming meetups at the library inspired by International Games Day @ Your Library in November, an initiative supported by the American Library Association, the Australian Library Association, and Nordic Game Day. After the initial celebration on November 10th, there will be a Games Day on the 2nd Saturday of every month from December – April (Dec. 8th, Jan. 12th, Feb. 9th, Mar. 9th, and Apr. 13th) during which all ages are invited to play board games, card games, and video games in the library’s Main Meeting Room.
