Library E-Card

Sign up for an online Library E-Card to get temporary access to downloadable books, audiobooks, magazines, streaming movies, and databases for 90 days. Once the library reopens, visit any Corvallis-Benton County Public Library branch (bring ID and proof of address) and  convert your E-Card to a physical library card.

If you already have a physical CBCPL library card, you most likely have access to online resources as well. Please contact us with questions or to renew your card.

All-Access Cards

If you live, own property, work or go to school in the Library’s district, you can get a free Library card at the Circulation Desk of any Corvallis-Benton County Public Library location once you fill out a Library card application  and show proof of address.

The Library district includes most of Benton County. (Residents living within the city limits of Albany are not eligible). Others may purchase a card for $120.

Students that are fifth grade and under need to have a parent or guardian’s signature.

If you apply for a Library E-Card online, the temporary card must be converted to a permanent card at any Library branch within 90 days or it will expire. Please note that the card may not work with all of our online databases.

Your Library card and PIN will allow you to access your Library account online via My Account.

Need to renew your card?

Residents may renew their accounts without visiting a branch by sending a picture or scan of a current utility bill to cardrenewal@corvallisoregon.gov.  The utility bill must clearly show their name, street address, and the date. Please note, we cannot renew an account when only a PO box is shown. Residents may block out the account number on the bill if they like. Staff will confirm contact information and renew the account. The image of the bill with then be deleted.
