First-time setup

  1. Install the cloudLibrary app

    Download the app from the App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android) or yourcloudlibrary.com (Kindle Fire).
  2. Connect to your library

    In the cloudLibrary app, select your country, state, and library. Enter your library card number and PIN. Your PIN is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
  3. Turn on holds notifications

    To be notified of arrived holds, swipe from left to right to open the home menu > Settings > NOTIFICATIONS\Email\Off > Yes, notify me. cloudLibrary will send a verification email.

Borrowing eBooks and eAudiobooks

  1. Find a book

    In the cloudLibrary app swipe from the left edge of the screen to open the main menu. Tap Browse for genres and subjects or tap Featured for new books and curated lists. To hide checked out books swipe from the right edge of the screen to open the Filters menu and tap Available Now. Need a bigger screen? You can do this step and the next one in any web browser by going to ebook.yourcloudlibrary.com/library/cbcpl.
  2. Borrow a book

    Tap the book cover and tap Borrow.
    Books will self-return at the end of 3-week loan period. They cannot be renewed, but a book can be borrowed again if there are no holds on it. There is a limit of 6 items borrowed and 6 items on hold.
  3. Read or listen to a book

    Swipe from the left edge of the screen to open the main menu. Tap My Books to see your checked-out books, and tap the book cover. To close the book, tap the center of the page, then X in the upper-left corner.

Return a book early (optional)

  1. Swipe from the left edge of the screen to open the main menu > My Books > Return > RETURN.
