Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

If you’re into great storytelling and lots of great information on video games, adventures; into futuristic books, and dystopian books–this book is for you. Now, there is the additional nostalgic element for those that grew up or lived in the 1980s, but overall, it’s a great story of the underdog fighting against corporate greed and there’s so many great facts about anything and everything 80s: music, games, movies, and culture. It’s very easy to get hooked and it becomes a quick read–great writing and flow too. And to think, it’s Cline’s first book to be published and we are lucky to get to rewind and get lost in the past, future, and in the pixels of a whole New World; an escape. Pick up a copy, now!
