Common troubleshooting steps for the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library App

Remove and re-add your account:

  1. My Account > Manage Accounts > REMOVE
  2. My Account > Manage Accounts > Add Account
  3. Fill out your Barcode and Password.

Uninstall and reinstall the app:

  1. Open the Google Play store or Apple App store, search “CBCPL” choose our app and select ‘Uninstall’.
  2. Once it has uninstalled, reinstall the app.
  3. Add your account.

Check for software updates:

  1. In your phone settings, check to make sure your phone or tablet is on the most recent software version. If not, update your device to the most current version.
  2. In case of an update, you may also have to try removing/adding your account and uninstalling/reinstalling the app.

Reporting An Issue:

If you are still having an issue with our app after completing the above steps, please call us at 541-766-6793 and include the below details about the issue:

  • What is happening?
  • What phone or tablet is having the issue? Type and Model? (ex. “iPhone 19 Pro Maximum Premium”, or “Samsung 27 Extreme Ultra Plus”)
  • What is the most recent software version?
