Summer Reading: June 1 – August 31, 2023

All kids from birth – 5th grade are invited to participate in the 2023 Kids Summer Reading Program from June 1 – August 31, 2023. Keep track of the days that you read or listen to books this summer and take part in some fun activities.

Here’s how to participate:

1. Get a free book and bag!

Participants receive one free book and bag, via pick-up at your local CBCPL branch or delivery to your home, while supplies last.

2. Track your reading on your summer reading log.

Fill in one circle on your paper reading log for each day that you read or listen to a book. Read for 35 days total between June 1 and August 31. One log per participant for the summer.

3. Turn in your completed summer reading log and earn another free book!

For questions, contact Youth Services, 541-766-6794 or email Youth Services.

4. The whole family can participate!

There is a Teen Summer Reading Challenge for 6th-12th graders and an Adult Summer Reading Challenge for ages 18+, too! Visit Summer at Your Library for more information.
