Tween Takeover

Friday, July 19, 2024 | 6:30 - 8:30 pm | Corvallis Library | Main Meeting Room | Tweens in grades 4-5 take over the library after it closes on Friday, July 19! Tweens in grades 4-5 are invited to play Beginner NERF games in the library after it closes! If you are in 4th-5th grade, join us for an after-hours NERF event! Un-modded NERF equipment welcome; safety glasses required and provided. The library will provide all Nerf blasters, darts, and snacks. Tweens, no need to bring your own blaster to this beginner friendly NERF event. Space is limited and registration for this event is required. Register online starting 7/6 at 12 pm. Day-of walk-ins may not be accepted. This event opens at 6:30pm; the library closes at 6pm. Tweens at the library at close must exit and then re-enter through the library doors on Monroe Ave. Tweens will be released at 8:30 pm through the same doors. For more information, call 541-766-6794. NOTE: all tweens must turn in a permission form signed by a parent or guardian to participate. Permission forms will be available at the library at the Youth Desk, as well as at the event. Once submitted, the permission form is good for the entire school year.

Tween Book Club

Tween Book Club The Tween Book Club is an at-home kit for tweens in grades 4-6. Each kit features a paperback copy of the book club selection, craft supplies and directions, and discussion prompts. The Tween Book Club kits will be available to pick up at your local branch library on the date(s) listed below. While supplies last. If you need a kit delivered, please contact Youth Services at 541-766-6794. Books and supplies are provided by the Friends of the Library.
