Volunteering

We love our volunteers!

We are grateful to our community members who choose to contribute their time, skills, and passions to our libraries! Our volunteers throughout Benton County are dedicated and generous neighbors who believe in the value of libraries to enrich our communities.

We welcome volunteers at each of our four locations: Alsea, Corvallis, Monroe, and Philomath. We strive to provide a meaningful and enjoyable volunteer experience for those who wish to participate in our important work. Thank you for your interest in supporting our community libraries!

Please see below for open volunteer roles and more information. Please note, as of May 2026, the Corvallis location is pausing applications due to overwhelming interest. Please check back for Corvallis volunteer roles later in the year.
