Summer At Your Library: June 1 through August 31, 2023
Summer @ Your Library includes Summer Reading, and various activities and events designed to help all age groups explore new ideas, books and adventures – free of charge. Check back soon for the summer-long event flyer. Starting June 1, you will also be able to pick up a free book, bag, and reading log, while supplies last! Follow the age group links below.

Kids Summer Reading
From birth to 5th grade
(para niños edades 0-11)
- Starting June 1, stop by any CBCPL branch to pick up a free bag and book.
- Inside your free bag is a reading log, to keep track of the days you read:
- Bilingual reading log for 5th grade and under / diario de lectura bilingüe para niños edades 0-11.
- Bring your completed reading log back to any branch and pick out another free book!
- Check our online calendar or summer flyer for kids (Corvallis, Philomath, Monroe and Alsea) for events throughout the summer.
- There are also some events just for tweens, grades 4 through 6.
Teen Summer Reading
Grades 6-12 (jovenes en grados 6-12)
- Starting June 1, stop by any CBCPL branch to pick up a free bag and book!
- A reading log is included in your free bag. Keep track of the days you read on the bilingual reading log for teens grades 6-12 / diario de lectura bilingüe para jovenes en grados 6-12.
- Return your completed reading log for another free book and an entry into a prize drawing!
- Check our online calendar or summer flyer for more events for teens
- There are also events just for tweens, grades 4-6 .
Summer @ Your Library for Adults
Ages 18 and older (para adultos)
- Starting June 1, stop by any CBCPL branch to pick up a free bag and book!
- Start tracking reading and activities on a paper reading log (included with your free bag).
- At the end of the summer, return your reading log for the chance to win prizes!
