Winter Break Family Movie & Craft

Thursday, December 28, 2023 | 1:00-3:00 pm | Main Meeting Room | Join us for a family movie featuring the animated elements of nature in Disney | Pixar's Elemental! Rated PG. Runtime is 1 hr 43 min. For more information, contact Youth Services, 541-766-6794. Free. Snacks provided. All family movie events are free and open to all ages. A variety of family movies are shown in the Main Meeting Room of the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library throughout the year. All movies are free. Feel free to bring your own snacks, if desired. Library Takeover (for Adults!)

The festivities begin after the library closes! Adults ages 18 and older are invited to play Nerf games, video games, or try a new craft! Light refreshments will be provided. Free! No registration required. Enter the library through Monroe Ave doors, across from Central Park. No one under 18 years of age will be permitted.

Children’s Music Concert

Stay tuned for upcoming music events for families at the library. Through partnerships with Chintimini Chamber Festival, Corvallis~OSU Piano International, the Friends of the Library, and other music programs in the community, the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library offers periodic music performances and special events for children and families.

Preschool Science Saturday

Saturday, November 4, 2023 | 10:30 a.m | Main Meeting Room | Upcoming Dates: Saturday, November 4, 2023, 10:30 - 11:30 am: Coral Reefs! Join us for a special themed storytime followed by hands-on activities designed for preschool-aged children. The focus of this Science Saturday is on CORAL REEFS, and it is designed to encourage the exploration of science, math, and literacy. Let's read, create, and celebrate our way through science! Preschool Science Saturday and Mother Goose Asks Why programs incorporate children's books and hands-on activities to explore science and math concepts for preschoolers and their families.
